Accessibility Statement

Budgetaris Inc. ("Budgetaris", "we", "us") is committed to making the budgetaris.life website and the Budgetaris Desktop product accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe financial planning should not place unnecessary barriers in front of any finance professional, and we work continuously to improve the accessibility of both our marketing website and our software.

Our commitment and standards

We design, build and maintain our digital properties with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines define how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of abilities, including accommodations for blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity and cognitive limitations. We also take into account the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act as they apply to websites and software.

The Budgetaris Desktop application is a native Windows and macOS program, and our accessibility work covers both the website and the application interface, including keyboard navigation, screen reader announcements, color contrast, focus indicators and text scaling.

What we do to maintain accessibility

• Automated testing. We run automated accessibility scans on the website and the application UI as part of our development workflow, so new pages and features are checked before they are released.
• Manual audits. We perform manual reviews with assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard-only navigation, on a regular schedule and before major releases.
• Design standards. Our design system enforces accessible color contrast, readable type sizes, visible focus states and labels on all form fields and interactive controls.
• Documentation. We train our designers and engineers on accessible patterns and include accessibility requirements in the definition of done for every feature.
• Vendor review. When we use third-party components, we evaluate their accessibility and prefer components that meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Voluntary Product Accessibility Template. A VPAT for Budgetaris Desktop is available on request for procurement teams that require one; email [email protected] and we will send the current version.

The budgetaris.life website is built with semantic HTML, descriptive page titles and a clear heading structure, so screen reader users can navigate by landmarks and headings. All images on the site carry alternative text. All form controls on the contact page have visible labels. The site supports keyboard navigation throughout, including the navigation menu and form fields, and can be zoomed to 200 percent without loss of content or function. Color is never the only means of conveying information, and text contrast meets WCAG 2.1 AA. The site is designed to be readable without style sheets in the case of assistive technology conflicts.

Known limitations

We are working through some known limitations. Some marketing images contain complex charts that are described in adjacent text rather than in full detail in their alternative text. Certain legacy help documents published as PDFs may not yet meet all WCAG criteria, and we are converting them to accessible HTML pages. The Budgetaris Desktop application supports keyboard operation for planning workflows, but a small number of advanced chart interactions are currently available only by pointer; we are prioritizing keyboard equivalents for those interactions in the current roadmap.

We acknowledge every accessibility request within three business days and will work with you to provide the information or feature in an accessible format, or to identify a reasonable alternative. We treat accessibility complaints seriously and escalate them to our product team for correction, with a status update within 15 business days where a fix is required.

The budgetaris.life website may link to third-party sites and services that are outside our control, and we cannot guarantee the accessibility of those sites. Where we link to content we publish on third-party platforms, we aim to provide accessible versions on our own site whenever possible.

Changes and review
