Budgetaris Desktop is priced per user per month, with no setup fee, no implementation fee and no fee for importing your historical actuals. Every plan includes the native Windows and macOS apps, unlimited data volume, encrypted sync and email support from our Denver office. Annual billing saves you 20 percent compared with monthly billing, and every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial that requires no credit card.

What every plan includes

All plans share the same core product, not a crippled version. That means the full planning engine, driver-based formulas, versions and scenarios, variance analysis, the report designer, and native offline desktop apps are available from the Starter plan upward. What scales between plans is organizational capability: the number of legal entities you can consolidate, workflow and approval depth, integrations, and the level of support and commitment we can offer.

Nonprofit organizations, registered startups under three years old and companies piloting Budgetaris in a single division can receive a 20 percent discount on annual plans. Ask us when you contact the team, and we will confirm eligibility in writing before you pay anything.

Billing details, in plain language

You are billed per active user, and you can add or remove seats at any time; seat changes are prorated on your next invoice. Annual plans are invoiced once a year, monthly plans once a month, and all invoices are payable within 14 days by credit card or ACH. We never charge for inactive users: after 90 days without a sign-in, a seat is released automatically and you are not billed for it.

Taxes are shown separately on your invoice. Most US customers do not pay sales tax because of their entity type; where tax applies, we collect and remit it as required by state law. Prices are quoted in US dollars and do not include taxes unless stated.

The 14-day free trial

Every plan can be tried free for 14 days with the full feature set of the plan you are evaluating, including consolidation on Growth. No credit card is required, no sales call is required, and there is no auto-conversion at the end of the trial — if you do nothing, the trial simply expires and your data stays exportable. If you need longer to evaluate, a 30-day trial is available for teams that complete a short onboarding call with our FP&A specialists.

Frequently asked questions

Can we pay by invoice instead of card? Yes. Annual plans and all Enterprise contracts are invoiced with net-14 terms. Monthly plans can switch to invoicing once your annual commitment reaches $5,000.

Do you offer a discount for paying annually? Yes, 20 percent off the month-to-month rate, which is reflected in the prices shown above.

What happens to our data if we cancel? You keep full export rights during the subscription and for 90 days after it ends. We never hold your planning data hostage. See the refund policy for the complete cancellation terms.

Is there a minimum number of users? No. Starter works from a single user, which makes it easy for a new FP&A hire to build the model before the team grows into it.

Do you charge for implementation? Starter is self-serve with template libraries. Growth includes guided onboarding, and Enterprise includes a structured migration program with a dedicated manager at no extra charge.

Can we migrate from another planning tool or from spreadsheets? Yes. We import from Excel, Google Sheets, and from common tools such as Adaptive, Anaplan and Vena with a structured mapping process. Most migrations complete in two to four weeks of calendar time.
